How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule XT Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2021 Nissan Murano. Adding a cargo box to the rooftop of your Murano is gonna help solve the issue of having limited cargo space. So something like this guy right here is gonna allow you to take advantage of that negative space to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you for your adventure. As a Murano owner, you already know that your cargo space is pretty limited, so if you maxing out the back of your vehicle, adding on the roof box to the top is gonna be great, and then you can see that there's no interference with the roof box while the cargo hatch is open. Let's take a closer look at some of the features of our box. This is an extra large capacity at 22 cubic feet and it also is locking. more

This is a rooftop-mounted cargo box and we're gonna take a look at how it fits and where you should install this on your 2021 Nissan Murano. If you need some extra cargo space, a lot of people like to go with a rooftop cargo box because it's an enclosed carrier that gives you that extra space, but helps protect whatever you're storing. On the Murano, if you have this fully loaded with people, having your items up top is very helpful. The SkyBox NX 16 is one of my favorite rooftop cargo boxes because of its versatility to carry around a lot of types of things. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2024 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Nissan Pathfinder. This specific Pathfinder is going to be the Rock Creek Edition, so it has slightly different crossbars than you may be used to, but this will also work on your other trims of Pathfinders as long as they have crossbars. If you're looking to expand the cargo space on your Pathfinder, because maybe you wanna carry around some extra bags, some gears, some skis and snowboards, you also wanna make sure that that cargo is protected. Well, the Yakima SkyBox NX is one of my preferred roof boxes to recommend. This is gonna be a very versatile roof box. We have some good height for those suitcases and luggage, but you'll also have the length to carry around a lot of that cargo. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Nissan Armada- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 cubic foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Nissan Armada. The SkyBox is gonna give you more cargo area to accommodate about three people to give you more space to carry the bigger, bulkier items that may not fit in your Armada if you're maxed out on capacity as far as passengers, and you have your third row up. This is a real good way to just maximize the space that's already available to you on the roof. The SkyBox is lockable and you're able to open it from both sides of your vehicle. And if you take a look on the inside of this guy, you can see that you have plenty of space with the clamps being almost flush. They are adjustable to meet the requirements for different types of crossbars, but just about any position that you have it on the roof, you're gonna be able to get it secured to the top pretty easily. more

Inno Roof Box Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop cargo box fits on the 2018 Nissan Rogue. This is gonna be a 13 cubic feet rooftop cargo box, I really like some of its features, like how easy it is to open and get access inside, although the clamps can be a little tricky compared to some other boxes, but with how this fits on the Nissan Rogue, I think it's a really good fit especially when it comes to the length of the box. So the whole box is gonna be 78 inches and three quarter inches long, which is a pretty long box, fit for cargo, different shapes and sizes but the main thing is, can you open up your hatch Well, with where we have this installed, we still have full access to our hatch even though there's a teeny tiny gap I left right behind there to fully max out that length. So this gives you access to your storage space of your vehicle, but also the storage space of the box. Notice where we have the box mounted to the crossbars, if you have a Nissan Rogue with raised rails, you can just move those rails back and, or the crossbars back and forth to get the best fit, in this case here you also have the ability to slide the box back and forth to fit on the rails. The tracks underneath there is a lot, so no matter what you could get, definitely get it into the right spot on your Rogue. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we have our Yakama Rocket Box Pro 14 roof cargo box. Part number Y07192. This has 14 cubic feet of space. This is 74 inches long, 33 inches wide, and 16 inches tall. Now to install this, we have 4 clamps. Down here if you cn see this, it's open on the backside of this clamp bar here. Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Maxima- Video
Today in our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series roof-mounted cargo box. Part number INBRA1170CA. It's got a carbon fiber finish, memory clamps, and it has 11 cubic feet of space. So the first thing we'll go over is the memory clamps here. We've got the two clamps that wrap around most of your different types of cross bars, like the arrow bars we have here, or square bars. We've got the grey knob here that's going to tighten and loosen that clamp around it, and we've also got a tie down point here at the top. So we've got 2 of our feet in place, or our clamps in place. First thing we need to do is open up our side. I simply lift up after pushing a button. And I will step up into the vehicle. We've got a little track here. We'll unlock the clamp, and just fit that in. And we'll test it out. It's a bit too tight, so we just want to loosen it. Now whenever we tighten it down, we don't want our feet down here to touch or to cross. They can touch but they can not touch. So if we had smaller bars, we'd just make sure they weren't overlapping each other. That's secure enough, so we'll just close our bar lid. Make sure we lock this side and we'll head over to the other side. Same thing over here, we'll unlock our side. Push our black button, and lift up. Now these memory clamps are great, anytime that you want to take your box off of your vehicle you can take it off. And they're simple to put on, you just fit them around your cross bars and lock them in place, so you won't have to tighten them down or loosen them each time that you want to load up your cargo box. Also we do have these nice tie down straps that come with the box. Then again, we'll tie down to those anchor points there. And then again, they're not overlapping, so we'll just close our lid, lock that in place and we're ready to hit the road with our all new Inno Shadow Series roof-mounted cargo box, on our 2014 Nissan Maxima. . more

This cargo box is going to offer 13 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice glossed black finish. It's going to part number INBRA1250BK. As you can see, up on top of our vehicle, we have our factory crossbars installed and we're going to show you how this looks up on there today. Let's go ahead and put it up top. One thing to keep in mind that with the factory crossbars is that they do have a 100 pound load rating for the vehicle. If you place anything up on top, you need to make sure that you maintain and be inside of that weight restriction. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue inbra1170ca- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow series cargo box. This one here is going to be part number INBRA1170CA, again that's INBRA1170CA. This is going to be 11 cubic feet of cargo space, cargo box with that nice carbon-fiber finish. And as you can see up on top of our vehicle, we have our factory crossbars installed. So we're going to show you how this looks up there on those. First thing we are going to do, set it up on top. Next we will locate our holes for where our feet will go through, and try and line it up the best we can, to get it as far forward as we can. Also note, that you will have the ability with this cargo box, to also shift your rails, or shift your crossbars up forwards if you wish, or backwards if you wish. Because on these raised rails, you can slide them forwards or backwards. But where we have them positioned right now with our 26 inch crossbar spread, the box is capable of 24 to 32 inches. And you can do whatever you'd like with it. So now that we've got it positioned up on our vehicle, we make sure that it's centered, because that's going to be the easiest for our application. And then we'll go ahead and open it up. Turn to the unlock position, press the button in, and simply lift up. Once you have it open, we will then grab the feet, position them in our little tracks here, make sure that they're open, and set them through around our crossbar. Now with these, they do adjust, and they fit your specific crossbars on whatever you want. So if you'd like to put them on square bars, you simply adjust it to your square bar setting and it will fit square bars, with simply, a click like that, and undone, and you can pull it on and off the vehicle. Real simple and easy. It'll fit your round bars, square bars, aero type bars, even your factory crossbars that you see here. So we'll simply just tighten this up a little bit, and once we have it tight, close it on up. And you can turn that grey dial to the right to tighten, or to the left to loosen it, and you can see that that's going to be nice and tight right there. We're going to do the same thing on the back, and notice that it does have that nice cargo tie down as well. So you can tie down your cargo, and not worry about it once you put it up there. This would be perfect for anybody that wants to put any kind of luggage, and or any other cargo that they have in their vehicle. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue we are going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11. This is going to be your eleven cubic feet of cargo space with your nice black finish. It's going to be part number Y07193. If you look up on top of our vehicle you will see that we already have our Yakima round bars, or rail grab bars, installed on the vehicle and we are going to show you what this looks like mounted to that. First step in doing so is to make sure that your feet are open on the bottom side of your rack. We'll lift the rack up and fit the feet in preparation to side them onto the rails. Lay the box up like this on its side then we will slide the feet under once they are all in position. We'll need to open it up real quick and make sure that our feet are unlocked. more

We'll go ahead and make sure that those are open. We can go ahead and slide it over our bars, making sure that our other clamps are open. We'll also want to make sure that our cargo box is all the way forward as far as it'll go to make for maximum clearance of our rear hatch. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today our 2013 Nissan Xterra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. With 22 cubic feet of storage space in metallic silver it's part number TH636S. With our Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System already installed on the Xterra we're going to begin the test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our load bars. We've found this is the best time to get our feet in line to where they'll go around our bars. With our box centered on all four of our feet around our bars we'll now open the passenger side where we'll reach in and tighten the two knobs closest to us. The Sonic XXL is designed with foot packs that will click when you have them tight enough. A great feature of the Thule Sonic XXL is it's ability to open from the passenger and driver side. We can now move over to the driver side and repeat the same tightening process that we used for the passenger side. With all four feet tight and our box secure we're ready to load up our gear and head down the road. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Xtera we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop cargo box, with 13 cubic feet of storage space in gloss black, it's part number TH634B. With our Touly Rapid Crossroads roof rack system already installed on the Xtera we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our load bars. We found this is the best time to line up our feet as we slide it on. With all four of our feet around our load bars we'll now open the passenger side of the box, reach in, and tighten the two foot tacks located closest to us. The Sonic is equipped with the knobs that will click when you have them tight enough. Once they click move onto the next one. With both knobs on the passenger side tight let's now move around to the driver's side. We'll open the box and repeat the same tightening process that we used on the passenger side. With all four of our feet tight, it's time to load up the gear and hit the road. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra, we're going to be testing fitting the Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box, with thirteen cubic feet of storage space in aero-skin black, it's part number TH624. With our Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System already installed on our Xterra, we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. We have found this is the best time to line up our feet as we slide it on. With all four feet around out bars, we'll now open the passenger side, reach in and will tighten the two knobs closest to us. One of the great features of Thule Force is its ability to open from both sides. We can now make our way around to the driver side, open the box, reach in, tighten the handles located on this side and just like that we're ready to load up our gear and hit the road. As you can see, with our box mounted and the foremost position, we have full access into our rear hatch. more

Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Force XXL rooftop cargo box. With 21 cubic feet of storage space in AeroSkin black its part number is TH626. With our Thule Rapid CrossRoads Roof Rack system already mounted onto the Xterra we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. We've found this is the best time to line up our feet as we place it on. With all 4 feet going around our load bars, we'll open up the passenger side of the box. We'll reach in and tie it in the 2 knobs closest to us to secure this side of the box to our bars. One of the great features of the Force XXL is it's ability to open from both sides. We can now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten the 2 feet on this side. With all 4 feet tight our box is secured to our load bars and we're ready to hit the road. As you can see, we have full access into our rear hatch. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Force XXL, part number TH626, on our 2013 Nissan Xterra. . more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of space in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System installed onto our roof, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then tighten down the knobs, which will bring the clamps tightly around the load bars. This box does feature their AcuTight mounting hardware which will notify us when the clamps have been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'm going to move to the back of the Rogue, open up the rear hatch. more

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue well be test fitting the Thule Pule Large Roof Top Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH615. With a Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack installed onto our roof, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our vehicles load bars. Now, this box does only open from one side, so youll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. Ill take the clamps and slide them down through the slots, over the top of each bar, and then Ill turn the knobs and tighten down the clamps up against the bars. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, Ill move to the back of the car and open up the rear hatch. You can see that the rear hatch does not come in contact with the back of the box. Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH614. Since this box only opens from one side you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can then take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'll move to the back of the Rogue and open up the rear hatch. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs till we hear that clicking noise. With all four feet tight our box is secured and we're ready to go. Here at the rear you can see that we have full access to our rear hatch door without it making contact with our box.
